Sugar Land Dive Center conducts our Instructor Development Courses over a relaxed nine days. You will start at 09:00, and the day generally ends at 6:00 PM. In addition, all our PADI Instructor Development Courses are also scheduled to coincide with a local PADI Instructor Exam (IE). The Instructor Exams are held on a Saturday/Sunday in Texas. You do have the option of completing your Instructor Exam in Cozumel, Mexico.
Your IDC will begin on a Saturday, allowing us two full weekends, in addition to the weekdays for training. We end the IDC on the Sunday before your Instructor Exam. Ending our IDC on the Sunday before your Instructor Exam allows us to have five days for any additional training you may want, review, and additional practice.
Sugar Land Dive Center only offers the newest PADI products, including the new PADI IDC curriculum, to our candidates. Using the new Digital IDC Crewpac, you will complete a large portion of the IDC Theory from home, allowing for much more contact time to focus on the practical aspect of actually teaching PADI Courses.
